Each year, Parent Orientation Leaders (POLs) are selected from the LSU Ambassadors, an elite student organization established to recruit, orient, and advise new students and parents.  All LSU Ambassadors undergo rigorous training in support of their mission, but Parent Orientation Leaders receive an additional 25 hours of training in order to serve LSU families at Family Orientation sessions.  Their specialized training allows them to help ease concerns, answer questions, and serve as a resource throughout not only the orientation experience, but also the academic year.
