When is registration for Family Weekend open?

2013 Family Weekend registration will open for LSU Family Association members on Tuesday, August 27 and will open for all LSU families on Tuesday, September 3. Family Weekend registration will close on Friday, October 4.

How do I register for Family Weekend?

Online. We will email the registration link to all current Family Association members on Tuesday, August 27.  Once registration opens to all families, we will email the link to all families on the Parent & Family Programs listserv and also post the registration link on the Parent & Family Programs website.

What methods of payment are accepted for Family Weekend?

All payments for LSU Family Weekend are made using a credit card on the online registration form (MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express are accepted). There will be a 2.5% credit card processing fee on all transactions.

What is the registration fee, and what does that include?

The Family Weekend registration fee is $40 per person. Children under the age of 12 can attend Family Weekend free of charge. This fee grants each registered family member access to all Family Weekend activities, pays for the dining events scheduled throughout the weekend, and includes special Family Weekend souvenirs. Please register and pay for all family members attending the Family Weekend events, including your LSU student. Only registered family members will be allowed access to the Family Weekend sponsored events.

Please note that your Family Weekend registration fee does not cover football tickets, as those are purchased separately through the LSU Athletic Ticket Office.  Please read below for more information on purchasing football tickets.

Does my LSU student have to pay the registration fee?

Your LSU student is considered a Family Weekend attendee and must register and pay the fee to attend Family Weekend sponsored events.

Are refunds available?

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to Aimee Frierson at afriers@lsu.edu and must be received by the refund deadline of Friday, October 4.
