Are tickets available for the LSU vs. Furman football game? How can I purchase them? Will they be mailed to me?

Football tickets are available for family members registered for Family Weekend via the Family Weekend Group Ticket Window. Details on how to purchase these tickets will be sent in the confirmation email received after registering for Family Weekend. Only those family members who are registered for Family Weekend are eligible for these football tickets.

When purchasing football tickets through the Group Ticket Window you will have the option to select “Print at Home” tickets or “Will Call” tickets. If you select the “Print at Home” option you will immediately receive an email from the Ticket Office containing the tickets.  This email has a large attachment so be sure to check your junk/spam folder. If you select the “Will Call” option your tickets can be picked up at the Athletic Ticket Office. Please visit www.lsutix.net for more information on the LSU Athletic Ticket Office.

Are tickets available for those who do not register for Family Weekend?

Football tickets in the Family Weekend allotment are reserved ONLY for those family members registered for Family Weekend.  The number of football tickets ordered CANNOT EXCEED the number of family members registered for Family Weekend. I have registered for Family Weekend. When do I receive my confirmation e-mail?

Confirmation emails are sent out in the order the registrations are received and are not automatically generated. Please allow up to 24 hours after registering to receive your confirmation email. If you register on a weekend, your confirmation email will not arrive until the following business day.  If you do not receive your confirmation email after 24 hours, contact us at lsufamily@lsu.edu.

What are the seat locations for the Family Weekend tickets for the football game?

Football seating for the 2013 Family Weekend group tickets is currently being finalized with the Athletic Ticket Office. In the past, there have been two ticket options for our LSU Family Weekend participants. A limited number of tickets are traditionally located in the south end zone and have been available for $40 each and tickets have also been located in the east upper deck at a discounted rate of $25 each. To view the location of these tickets in Tiger Stadium, please click here.  FYI, in previous years the south end zone tickets sold out within a couple of days. Once seating is finalized with the Athletic Ticket Office more specific information will be available regarding the sections and rows of the Family Weekend football tickets.

Family Weekend participants that need handicap accessible tickets need to contact Aimee Frierson (afriers@lsu.edu) as soon as possible after registering for Family Weekend. This includes family members who may not be able to climb multiple flights of stairs. Handicap accessible tickets in Tiger Stadium are extremely limited.

Should I purchase a football ticket for my LSU student?

If your LSU student has received a student ticket to the LSU vs. Furman football game they can use that ticket to sit in the student section of Tiger Stadium. The student section is not located near the Family Weekend groups of tickets. If you would like your student to sit with your family for the game then you will need to purchase them a ticket through the LSU Family Weekend Group Ticket Window.

If we register for Family Weekend, are we guaranteed football tickets?

Traditionally, there have been enough football tickets to accommodate all registered families; however, football tickets are limited and sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please do not delay in purchasing your football tickets once you receive your confirmation email. These tickets in the Family Weekend Group Ticket Window are only available to families who register for Family Weekend.

What should I do if football tickets have sold out?

Call the Athletic Ticket Office at (225) 578-2184 to inquire about the availability of football tickets for the general public. We also recommend utilizing www.lsutix.net to access the Ticket Marketplace, which is a venue for LSU fans to buy and sell their tickets for upcoming LSU games.

Can my student use his or her LSU Student Ticket for the football game?

Yes, but this will allow your student to sit in the student section only, which is not near the Family Weekend section of tickets. If your student would like to sit with your registered family members, you will need to purchase a ticket for your student along with the rest of your party via the Group Ticket Window.
