Aimee Frierson

Assistant Director, Parent & Family Programs

Aimee is a native of Thibodaux, Louisiana and graduated from LSU in 1999 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and in 2002 with a Masters in Social Work. She began her career at LSU in University College, Center for Freshman Year working as an academic counselor. During this time, Aimee had the opportunity to work with parents of freshmen quite a bit, especially during Orientation. This is where she developed a passion for working with parents and families. In 2008, a position in the Office of Orientation became available to work with parents and families full time and Aimee quickly jumped at the opportunity. She enjoys getting to know new LSU families each year and enhancing Parent & Family Programs to meet the needs of today’s college families. In her free time, Aimee enjoys spending time with her family, including her two daughters, traveling, and cheering on the LSU Tigers!
Josh Garland

Josh is a native of Texas but considers himself an honorary Cajun, with most of his family from Lafayette, Louisiana. He graduated LSU in 2008 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is currently working on a Masters in Strategic Marketing. He began his career at LSU in the Office of Undergraduate Admission and Student Aid as an Enrollment Advisor and Out-of-State Recruiter. This is where Josh developed a passion for serving students, parents, and families. In 2011, he was offered a position at the Department of Geology & Geophysics as a Corporate Relations & Alumni coordinator and now resides within the LSU Family Association. Josh enjoys spending time with his wife, traveling, philanthropy for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and of course, LSU Football! GEAUX TIGERS!
Paige LeBlanc

Paige is a native of Madison, MS and a recent alumna of the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. She is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Higher Education Administration at LSU and is ready to embrace her "inner cajun" during her time as a Louisiana native. As an undergraduate, Paige served as an Orientation Leader and student recruiter for her alma mater. Her involvement in orientation and admissions has fostered an enthusiasm for parents and families, and she is so excited to serve the families of the LSU community! Paige enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Taylor LeBlanc
Student Assistant, Parent & Family Programs
Taylor was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and started her undergraduate degree in Mass Communication with a concentration in Advertising in Fall 2010. So far, Taylor has served as a Parent Orientation Leader and the Funding & Financial Chair through her involvement in the student organization LSU Ambassadors. Currently, Taylor is the student assistant for Parent & Family Programs. Taylor is also involved in the Communication Across the Curriculum Distinguished Communicator Program. In her free time, Taylor enjoys spending time with her family, attending concerts, and spending Saturday nights in Tiger Stadium.
Erin Kenna

Erin is a native of St. Martin, Mississippi. She began her undergraduate degree in Mass Communication in Fall 2010 with a concentration in Public Relations. Erin has served as an LSU Ambassador, as the Assistant Director of Academics for the Student Government Executive Staff, and as an executive member of the Public Relations Student Society of America at LSU. Currently, Erin is the Student Assistant for the Family Association. Erin enjoys Louisiana and all its offered attractions. In her free time, she likes to play tennis and attend concerts around campus.
